I highly recommend it for unintentional hilarity. It's not hard to find, either, as they show it on both VH1 and BET approximately 600 times a week.

You're right, she does talk about herself that way. So you'd think it would fall to music critics to point out the utter banality of her actual music, but they seem to have bought her schtick hook line and sinker, and talk about her like she's some outre performance artist.
Nailed it. This is what has always bothered me about her. If people would just regard her as what she is - a person who sings top 40 pop music - then she'd just be another inoffensive pop star. The problem is that people talk about her like she's Laurie Anderson or Diamanda Galas.
