JJ JEANS YEAH YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN

Yeah, this episode was unreal.

Agreed. I discovered this show from Season 1 reruns, but nothing could've prepared me for Season 2.

It doesn't so much signal another boy-band invasion, so much as it just confirms the sneaking suspicion among Americans, previously voiced in these comment boards and elsewhere, that in terms of pop culture England still thinks it's 1998.

Chris Rock + "late-night talk show"

Is there a reason why the AV Club front page just bills this interview as being with "Breaking Bad's sleazy lawyer?" Do you folks really think anyone reading AV Club doesn't know who Bob Odenkirk is? It's like you think we're all senior jackasses.

Am I the only one who thinks the whole "BBT steals lots of the audience that would otherwise be watching Community" argument is way overblown around here? Those two shows are nothing alike and in my mind would share none of the same viewers. I don't know anyone younger than 60 who watches Big Bang Theory. To me, it's

I mean, it's also possible that this is a show that a lot of people DVR since it's on at midnight, but yeah, the number of people who don't know about this show (or worse, are weirdly averse to it) is really depressing. This is hands down, without any shred of doubt the funniest show on television right now, and the

Maybe I'm not old enough to remember the "real" shark-jumping moment (whatever it may have been), but for me, that was the moment at which Rolling Stone officially ceased having any credibility whatsoever.

I love this reference. I remember how embarrassed Buck clearly was in the aftermath of that incident, and I'm just sitting here thinking "yeah, embarrassed about being awesome."

Best Comment Ever

Realistically, I know this album will mostly just feature the same people Buck works with in all his non-R.E.M. projects (McCaughey, Barrett Martin, etc), but seriously, I could totally see Peter Buck making a really great, fun solo album along the lines of Mike Watt's Ball-Hog or Tugboat?, with tons of guest spots

Clearly you've never heard "My Bible is the Latest TV Guide" by "13111."

See, it's much easier for me to picture Troy yelling "Why don't you like Community?!?" through tears, and that, for me, is so much funnier.

This season I've really discovered how much I love Sergei in low-stakes scenes. In Season 2 he mostly killed people in every episode, but this year we've seen him in scenarios like last week with the potato, and after having seen so much of his psychotic murdering side, seeing that same psychosis applied to such

Yeah, Life and Times was definitely pretty weak. It seems like so much of Mould's latter-day solo career has seen him temper his natural ability to kick ass with his inexplicable desire to write snooze-worthy Scrubs soundtrack fodder. The guy can obviously do great stuff without loud guitars (Workbook), but a lot of

Yeah, I feel comfortable calling this the best of the season, but I said the exact same thing last week. I seem to find myself saying that every week, because this show is the best ever.

Not so much the lyric as just Fagen's delivery of it.

There's an offensive joke to be made here…but what?
