My worst episode of Mad Men is probably Season 3's "Souvenir." A lot of things happened in that episode that didn't make much sense at all from a character perspective.

Smashed and Wrecked made me stop watching Buffy for a year. Then I realized I was stupid and went back and finished the series, and was happy I did.
God, that episode was terrible.
No, Nuking the Fridge is the new Jumping the Shark. Keep up.
Frank Grimes is my favorite episode of The Simpsons.
I'm mixed on "Celebrate Ricky Sargulesh." On one hand, the main action of the plot wasn't all that funny. On the other hand, the few laughs in that episode were among the best in the series, IMO. The tag during the credits, in particular, had me laughing for the next ten minutes straight.
True, but I really see all the idiocy in the Avatar Day village as just being a lot of setup for the "worst village ever" joke. I was pretty down on this episode for almost the whole thing, but the punchline of the episode made me laugh harder than I did at any other point watching Avatar.
I'm not so sure about that. I mean, I'm sure there would be some political fallout, but CJ made it absolutely clear that she was giving her own, personal opinion on the matter, and not reflecting the policy of the administration in any way. That's what the State Department would say to the angry Saudi Ambassador -…
Indeed. Also, regarding the cross, SPOILERS I GUESS, it does work on Jerry, but it doesn't kill him. It just burns his hand, and he laughs off the pain. Takes more than a scorched hand to take down a powerful vampire like him!
Ah, but the REASON TV Club Classic is going on hiatus is that we are about to get a full dose of TV Club Contemporary. Seems like a reasonable trade-off.
Yes, excellent proof of concept. All we need in order to know that there is enough material for a compelling 2-hour long is a 5-minute action scene.
That pic is terribly photoshopped.
I'm undecided on this myself. Ed has some truly hilarious moments, like Mushroom Samba. But the Ed-being-crazy-in-the-background that happens in more serious episodes gets on my nerves. She's either a huge addition to the episode, or a huge drawback - never a neutral presence.
Ed
An enjoyable comic relief character, or the most annoying aspect of the show?
I can't remember the last time I watched anything that aired on FOX.
*rimshot*
Rewatching this now to get a mid-summer P&R fix. Everyone needs to go back and check out the Entertainment 720 business plan on Tom's computer (shown during the montage toward the beginning of the episode where it shows everyone reacting to Li'l Sebastian's death). It's absolutely hilarious.
I'm with Simon on this one. One of my least favorite sessions. Not to say it's BAD - there are no BAD Bebop sessions - but it's still pretty forgettable. And I think Simon's done a good job of picking out the reason why - there's no lasting impact from this episode. We don't really get any more character development,…
This looked just about as bad as The Bionic Woman. I can't believe this was a "high profile project" at one point.
Luiz,
