It's really very sad we don't have more examples here. I'm gonna go with Meg Ryan and Hugh Jackman in Kate and Leopold. Meg's cute I guess but that was her worst hair ever and he's Hugh Jackman. Her character isn't described as ugly, just sort of sexually invisible?

This had to have been done on Ugly Betty a few times, yeah? And no I'm not calling America Ferrera ugly. Just badly dressed.

But Josh Brolin and Mickey Rourke are both sexy.

Just the fact that he spun gettting his ass so thoroughly kicked into "I was in a bar fight" is a neat little bit of delusion.

I for one am really really excited to see it. And, yeah one of major reasons I'm seeing it is because of Andy Serkis.

Marie
I've been holding this in as long as I can, especially since I've really grown to like her as a character but…ENOUGH WITH ALL THE FUCKING PURPLE!

basically good
Many acting noms for justified, so I can forgive the lack of a writing nom (although, really?!)

I liked it, but it was alot fluffier than I expected.

I for one will never stop loving Armageddon. And even I know I love it because it's the most emotionally manipulative movie I've ever seen. But it also has that great cast.

Whoops!

Lights Out
Maybe just because it's still fresh in my mind but I think the last episode was a pretty awesome accidental finale. It was big and dramatic and then they brought it down to way more quiet and heartbreaking. Plus, realistically, where was that show going after season 1? It seemed pretty well contained within

Yay
for Chloe Moretz and Ton Felton. Boo, for dumb kids not realizing that Draco Malfoy isn't the villian in Deathly Hallows, as he seems to be in more danger than Harry.

I don't hate it
But I can't stand to watch for that long because of the obnoxious judges and the terrible terrible terrible band.

It's getting weird. Deep down, we miss being abused by the British?

Oy
"The only way to enjoy it fully, without residual feelings of guilt, shame or self-loathing, is to contract a sudden case of cultural amnesia"

To slightly disagree with one or two
I think there are the makings of of good movie in Varsity Blues. And I actually really liked Evan Almighty.

Tap
You said the producers have realized that tap doesn't work on this show? Maybe that's true for the same reasons they don't do that much ballet but they included tap for one season and they barely featured it at all, so it's not like they've tried really hard to make it work and have now realized that it can't.

Eh, I think we're just spoiled by what they've put out since FINDING! Nemo. It's alot more jokey than Up and Wall-e but at the time, it felt totally heartbreaking and brave.
