Or not
I just watched that clip and remembered that the songs are actually good to. So I guess i don't really need Christian Bale to enjoy Newsies.

but…
half of the appeal was the cast. Love Newsies, though. Love it!

Vague noncommital critique
I kinda watched it (while doing the dishes) and I have to say, I tentatively liked it. Writing wasn't the greatest and cop shows tend to bore me, but they seemed to be trying for some character depth. The off brand Taylor Kitsch kept me watching and I like the guys playing the next few

Gap toothed Starey Hoo guy: Not every indepth discussion about a women's right to not be sexually abused requires ironic sexism. Bake your own damn ironic pie.

You know, for a summer movie season that everyone's complaining about, I was basically happy with everything I saw. It helps that I avoided the ones that were supposed to be awful (Last Airbender, SATC 2, whatever Shrek they're on…, Jonah Hex) I really liked Robin Hood. It didn't look alot like Gladiator to me because

I watched Donnie Darko for the first time and some friends and I watched several hours of Glee.

I haven't gotten laughter in my theatres, I've just gotten alot of people waiting to the end and just saying "No' sort of under there breath.
That being said, for some reason the "TURN ON THE LIGHTS!" line keeps freaking me out.

yeah
Just saw Showgirls (gah!) and I have to say he was not terrible in it, which is impressive considering the lines he got stuck with.

Yeah, dazed and confused has a melancholy, but only in the sense that teenagers of any era are confused and have a tendency to debate whether or not everything is useless for hours and hours. With regards to the rebellious quarterback angle, I can get behind the injustice of his coach telling him who he could be

@Haden: That "sit next to the boy you think is cutest" line actually worked to make me more uneasy about the school and world they were living in. For one thing, that girl gets an answer wrong about the assignment that she didn't do…and because of the romantic whim of this new girl, she gets kicked out of her seat!

whoa
I just watched this for the first time (yeah, I'm gonna have to do this again) and dear lord, am I depressed right now.

I know my lines…I just don't know them in order.

Still?
There are adults who'll still refuse to watch a Pixar movie because they think it's only for kids? How does one avoid everything that has been written or said about a studio for over a decade anyway?

Yeah, I can't get into Bourne either, which is a shame since there are so many great people involved. But the shaky cam won't let me see any of the action and the character just isn't that interesting. I've never been so bored by Matt Damon.

So what I'm understanding abour Murphy from some of these comments is that our two Murphy options are a) back during Raw when he was all young and "charismatic" doing homophobic jokes or b) now, when he's older, lazy, doing family movies that have no pulse, in a variety of fat suits.

So do I, normally, but I have no interest in The American. Catch you next time George.

JoJo
I love the reaction shots in that Jojo video, she's yelling about her cheating boyfriend on the steps in front of the school and the camera keeps cutting to people whose's faces are clearly saying "That girl is crazy" or "Yeah, we're like 10, stop whining about your great love"

Really?
Tom Sizemore and Heidi Fleiss?

You can't stop me from saying ubiquitous!

this
Just hopped over to the IMDB, and it looks like he guested on every TV show ever.
