What?!
My mom wants to know, since her music books at school have both Kookaburra and Down Under in them (because it's a good illustration of pop music referencing a folk tune) does she now have to pay Larrikin if her kids perform either one? This is so ridiculous.

You're not rock phobic, right…
Okay, I don't know what rock you approve of. But after reading a couple of very entertaining Britney Spears think pieces from you, it's a little dissapointing that you don't attempt more than a kneejerk "Nickelback sucks, so does Coldplay, and Bon Jovi is old" thing that could have been

Why?
I thought the original already infiltrated fairly well in the US. What's the point in remaking it?!

Yeah, Grint hasn't been the best one at all. He was the worst. Rewatch the spider scene in chamber of secrets, it aint pretty. He was definetly the best in Half Blood Prince.

Doc Eon, women as well as men have access to actual porn. We tend to read ours, we call it erotica and alot of it gets pretty hardcore.

Snape?
Really, no Snape in that trailer at all?! Cuz DH was like 70% Snape backstory. It's funny that this new trailer jumps right to the end of the movie we don't get to see until next summer.

Valkyrie was controversial?
Can someone tell me why the movie about trying to kill Hitler was controversial? Because unless you're talking about the distracting casting choices (Kenneth Branagh, Eddie Izzard and Bill Nighy as German officers, I buy that!) I just don't see the controversy

Yes!
If Nolan can rein him in (which is totally doable he just hasn't had a director that wanted to work that hard in the last 15 years or s0) that would be awesome. Or it would be him doing a Heath Ledger impression, since Nolan would probably encourage him to be manic but very dark. Which might work in this context

I guess I'm in
I'm curious how Facebook happened, but that wouldn't get me to watch a movie about Zuckerberg. But Sorkin wrote it, so I'm in. That trailer kinda made it look like a fake movie, though. Studio 60 wasn't relentlessly bleak, just kinda lost.

Big McLargehuge

this
In that second clip, I was so expecting the stepmother to pounce on that thoroughly scared looking woman once her story had been squashed. I mean, she's clearly the weak zebra. Also, I wanna watch the remake just to see Elizabeth Banks do this part.

Well I haven't seen Naked, but judging by the clips, Johnny sounds alot like the sad, scary ranty driving instructor from Happy Go Lucky, so no. I don't want to see that.

Life On Mars ruled!

Too early
I don't know everyone's names yet and I have absolutely no idea who I like yet. I voted for Adechike (maybe?) but I didn't remember that I liked him the best until the did those recap clips where they tell you what number to call. At this point I'm still only getting excited when I know Pascha is coming up.

Wow, didn't expect that
So I watched that clip up there, and now that I've calmed down (I almost turned that off when the black blob very slowly changed into a person like that, gah!) I'm really impressed that a director could make a chorus singing ooh-ooh-oohs in the background of a ghost story seem actually scary.

Since you brought up the god awful J-pop ballad that plays over the credits of these movies, I had to drop in an say that kinda pissed me off about Audition. Way to find a song that suits the mood of the film!

No!
Dammit, if you move Oscar season up to December/November, I won't be able to see the all ten movies you're nominating now because I'll be broke from Christmas! Does this occur to no one else?! Unless of course this means you are actually willing to break out of your strictly programmed "this movie goes in these

For me it's odd that people remember the couch jumping thing and forget the attacking Brooke Sheilds for having post partum depression and lecturing Matt Lauer

Oh Tom Wilkinson
Did you take on US citizenship or something? Weren't you British at one point?

Weird that I halluciated all those eloquent acceptance speeches…
