Good, more shorts!
I really like this idea. Now anyone else besides Disney want to start running shorts before your movies? I really like short films, lets go back to running at least one short in front of every movie. Got it?

Um, Smack? Have you even seen True Blood?! I love it, and he's doing some good acting stuff on it, but it's campy as hell.
Enough with the chess, already!
Find another "This is a smart person!" visual cue!
A thing has to want to be revived, you know. And since everything he's put out in the 15 years or so reaks of "I seriously do not care anymore," I doubt an impressive artistic comeback is headed our way.
Um, who the hell was looking close enough to notice that?!
I got the impression that the royalty thing was by state. I'm going off that line where Eric said that Godric could have been the king of Texas if he had wanted to. And that the Magister decided everything legal for all of North America. But I can't pinpoint the exact bit of dialogue that gave me that impression about…
Nice Quinn moment there
Oddly, not talking about the birth scene. In the "this is why we love you and Glee" speeches, every one else was talking about how their lives had changed for the better and Quinn's was "I used to be captain of the Cheerios." And she didn't seem to be saying it happily.
Oh dear
His coping mechanism is to do a bunch of action movies back to back that don't require him to think or feel, isn't it? Well, I hope it works for him. So not seeing a Taken sequel though, wanted to beat the first one to a pulp.
Not cool, starz. Way too soon.
Gangs of New York
Huh, the third act was the only part I liked. I mean, yeah, it was an abbrupt tonal shift that sorta made me hate the movie more than I already did. But at that point I was just so glad I didn't have to watch Leo and DDL whine at each other for another hour.
He may be perfectly nice, but I don't think I'll ever instinctively like him in a movie because he creeped me out so much in Wedding Crashers. Though I did think he was pretty funny on Nip/Tuck.
more a two month long enthusiam gap for me
This summer, I've already seen Iron Man 2 and Robin Hood (loved em both) but the only other thing I really want to see this is Toy Story 3. And after that…nothing…until labor Day when the Expendables and Machete come out. I'll probably see Splice, I'm getting curious based on…
Wow, that's the first time I've ever heard of focus groups fighting to preserve something good.
So good!
Such an amazing Boyd episode. I think I missed something though, what happened with Bo in that final shootout?
Does someone need a hug?
Because this sentence about No Country for Old Men: "they tapped into the waking nightmare of our age of terror" is very worrisome.
Yeah, I think she's a good actress, I loved 27 Dresses, and she's right about most of the things she's been attacked for (standing up for your gay friend against a homophobic coworker is commendable, Knocked Up was sexist as hell, and the Grey's anatomy writers weren't giving her anything to work with) but it's hard…
Hey, while we're on the subject, I thought I'd express my appreciation for introducing me to some interesting films I wouldn't have picked up without this column. Let the Right one In I would have found on my own because everyone raves about it, but would I have found Stuck? Or House of the Devil. Hell no, and I…
Only kinda related, I got to see Hal Holbrook playing Mark Twain a couple of years ago and it was awesome!
Hey, everyone, Lost totally did pull this!
I would have liked the Lover alot more if that obnoxious narrator wasn't constantly interrupting to implicitly state the already obvious conflict in hundreds of different ways. Also, Jane March bugged the hell out of me. That said, insanely hot, particularly the first scene with them in his car and his hand slooowly…
