I'm catching up on your recs - GT Ultra is pretty fun

I could see a set of her fans who have been hoping for Lana to really embrace her original Nancy Sinatra But Hip Hop sound, I'm not really one of them though and don't need jesus, two?, A$AP songs.

I try not to listen to anything but the real single from a new album, I think artists/bands release way too much of their albums before release now, so all I've heard off the Lana album is Love and the preview of the Weeknd song. I'm a little disheartened at how many songs seem to have a collaborator on them.

She's really damn good, her song on the Blood Orange album was my favorite and just so easy to listen to over and over again. Go to Hell is pretty fun too.

Revisiting high school me and dance-punk… Been listening to a lot of the first albums from Liars, DFA1979 and Bloc Party which are all really fucking incredible sounding still.

This reminded me I haven't heard the new Speedy song. It's too mellow, and Sadie's vocals sound really disinterested. No Below was the best song from Major Arcana (and one of my favorite songs of that year) but it sounded so great standing alone next to all the messier/louder songs.
