Matt Donovan for Secret MVP of Season 4.

I really thought she was talking about killing Klaus, and thereby killing them all. She was racked with guilt and talking about the person responsible for all of them - and then goes to Katherine. I mean OK, also accurate, but doesn't really solve any problems except for her own rage. Not that I want to see them going

One other thing: they kind of need to breathe in order to speak, right?

I actually prefer the way TVD has not explicitly addressed the way vampires' bodies work compared to the way BtVS consistently said things about how their hearts don't beat and they don't breathe, and then you'd see Spike and Angel panting away. On TVD, I like to imagine that the vampires' bodies work like humans'

I didn't really understand what Stefan wanted here. He's seeing Elena freaking out - which she deserves to do FOR ONCE in the last crazy two years of her life - and he says, "Damon, help her." I immediately assumed he was suggesting that Damon do exactly what he did (or at the very least, compel her to calm down or

That's what I was wondering. But is he like a supernatural being now that he's a Hunter, and therefore the ring doesn't work on him?

I am fully on board with this, but what is their motivation? I can see Elijah wanting the cure, but I'm not so sure about Katherine.

As soon as the resurrection plot was mentioned, I was like, "Oooh… they're totally going to use this as an excuse to bring back a whole load of people." Potential for Alaric (does his new show have a premiere date yet?), Jenna, Vicki, Grams, Jonathan, Isabel, the Gilbert parents…

My impression of what happened with Anna was that, while he loved Bonnie, he also loved Anna. When she "came back" he couldn't make himself ignore his feelings for her. I never thought that his feelings for Bonnie were less than those for Anna or that he "chose" her in some way, but Bonnie was pissed about his

Just in general, I like seeing the characters interact with each other in different ways than we're used to. Definitely the whole "team" working together was great, but Stefan showing up at Bonnie's and just giving her a hug and making sure she was OK was lovely. Her reaction to him was good too - devoid of her usual

In puppy class, the instructor had several methods for keeping the puppies occupied and challenging them to earn their food. Things like putting their food inside a plastic bottle or tied in a sock. We tried the sock thing, and that was OK, although our guy is too small to tear apart a sock, so we had to cut little

I am very sad, in endless despair, etc., but this Newswire is truly perfect, and that helps.

The fight seems to go on forever and the way it's filmed, written, and acted makes it feel just relentless. It's sort of like a torture-porn horror scene. The horrible energy between Nate and Brenda just won't let up and they won't let each other go until they've exhausted every possible way to hurt each other and

@rmarma:disqus Someone pointed that out to her on Twitter, and she agreed and apologized for not making that point in the article.
