I never understood the point of Maxim. The writing was shit and the women wore clothes. I mean, you have to be better in at least one respect.

"You eviscerated and sodomized Vince Neil on national television"

Couldn't remember which beer ran the Swedish Bikini Team ads. Figured it was Coors Light. But after looking it up, it was Old Milwaukee. Not a bad beer as far as cheap beers go. Just crazy to remember that there was a time when Old Mil had an advertising budget.

Right. But I'd be willing to wager that 30 years from now the primary delivery method for live sports will still be through the broadcast/cable television model. It may not be at the same percentage as it is now, but it will still be first.

The NFL already has a a couple of video options. If you live outside the US you can get live streaming for all games I think, and in the US you can watch all of the games on demand after the fact.

Let the contract negotiations begin!

Dude, nice headshot.

Oh man. I always wanted to play that game. About plotzed when I saw it on the shelf the first time. Unfortunately my shitty Apple knockoff didn't always play nice with compatible games and this was one. I was so excited to get it and so disappointed when it wouldn't work.

Yeah, but then I'd have to talk to people I don't know. Seriously, it is one of those things I've thought about but just have never gotten around to doing.

It's not from a lack of trying. Between people's schedules, kids, and work bullshit you have to schedule shit two months out and even that isn't a guarantee.

You've convinced me to buy Twilight Struggle despite the fact that I have no idea who I would play it with. But it involves maps and flags so I'll just enjoy the design of the board much like Europe Aflame. Horrible, convoluted game but it looks fantastic.

Cats hate water, right? Build a moat.

Good one, Chet.

As far as I can tell, it just pulls up every article on the site starting with the most recent.

One word: Rice.

I've kept up Second Life profile up and running just in case. It's bound to make a comeback, right?

Maybe a Hugh Grant cameo for the trifecta?

And that tells you how long it has been since I've listened to that particular Carlin bit. You'd think I would remember a gem like that. Though I saw Heartbreak Ridge before I discovered Carlin's catalog.

And lightsabers. You can't have enough lightsabers in one scene.

You're right, compared to the good ol' days, they don't really crank them out like they used to. If they did that with superhero movies we would get down into the dregs of Hanna Barbera pretty quick. As long as it eventually led to a Harvey Birdman revival I'd be cool with it though.
