I love how the show portrays Ash as equal parts awesome and sad ageing loser, and they work together perfectly. Ash is such a fun character.

Ruby's 'exit' instantly reminded me of Drag Me To Hell.
Or you could just, you know, skip the stuff you don't like or aren't interested in.
.. so at least mildly racist.
Yeah, but here it seems Lindeloff is confusing good storytelling with coming up with suprising and/or smart twists. You don't need a twist to tell a good story. But if the writer does decide to use a twist, it then is the writer's responsibility to make it a good one, which basically does mean he or she needs to…
So Nerd Poker ended this week. Can't say I'm really sad about it - I used to loooove NP, but after a couple of months of Blaine as DM, I had to give up out of pure frustration. Don't get me wrong, Blaine as a regular player was fantastic but oh boy, not a good DM.
Ugh, really?
Yeah, I was so disappointed to hear Joel had chosen Jonah Ray. Ray is that guy who desperately wants to be a comedian, but isn't actually funny. Whenever I've seen him performing, or heard him on a podcast, he comes across so fucking desperate, it's just annoying.
And she made a reference to adding herself to a large amount of gin and limes, as tonic water basically is quinine water. Tonic water was originally created to battle malaria, gin was added to cover the bitter quinine taste, and thus the gin and tonic was born.
He doesn't have a total lack of introspection - I mean, he hallucinates patients he has killed, accidentally or not.
No, although I see where you're coming from..
Like I said, this particular episode is excellent. I am talking about the general romantic arc in the second part of the season - it is done quite well, but still feels like well trodden ground.
Also, she isn't some other person's grandmother, she's his girlfriend's grandmother. Which means he'll make more of an effort for her.
Although this episode is excellent, I was disappointed about how the second half of the season changed most of its focus to Dev's lovelife. I just feel that all the other aspects of his life are so much more interesting to explore, we've seen the relationship stuff enough in other TV and film.
Certainly sounded like him.
What you call 'making assumptions about what you find more dignified', sounds like the definition of being polite and/or compassionate.
Yeah, and to think Lee said that about 8 years ago - it has only become more pertinent, over the years.
It's been a long time since I saw it (must've been 2000, I guess), but I do remember there being a drum circle, and the only music used in the film was the drumming.
This is written by Morwenna Banks? She's an English comedian and writer, sad to see she couldn't get this made in the UK, with a British cast.
It's SNL, there will be no good material.
