I absolutely LOVED it when Albini said that music communities have reformed on the internet. I am so fucking sick and tired of that whole old-fart-narrative, where the internet is seen as the death of paid-for music.

Maron reached peak uncoolness in that episode of WTF, when he had to cram in his hot, new riff at the end.. I think I actually said "oh no.." out loud.

Was that on that poker forum? I read that thread about two years ago, after reading it about elsewhere, and found it really fascinating, directed me to a whole lot of Albini-produced bands I had never heard of.

I stopped listening to the Magic Tavern at about episode 20. The quality of the improvisers is spotty at best, and the overarching story never seemed to be going anywhere, so I had to cut it.

She does put down plastic, what look like black plastic bin bags, taped together. Then she rolls old man Fisk on it, and starts sawing.

Yeah, I like Rocky Horror, but Young Frankenstein wins on every count. Young Frankenstein still looks gorgeous, and at times actually works as a horror film, and consistently works as a fantastic comedy.

I like how as soon as Scott sat down in his chair, he basically looked like Julia Child.
