wye oak

sobriety has kind of made ryan adams boring.

i will listen to this right now.

have you heard of wye oak?

although he is pretty crucial to new order, it's nowhere near as bad as his tours playing whole joy division albums. i mean, he doesn't even play bass when he's doing that- just sings the songs in an ian curtis impression. he's barely any more qualified than any of us to do that.

he's just trying to get his phone turned back on.

i've been on this for about 6 months, but it hasn't caught on.

you kidding me?

there was a space alien!

this is okay. still not into this band. i also would like to hear the strokes cover, plz thank you.

if it was about four ringos, it wouldn't work as a band, but would make a pretty good television program.

you know, i like stuff about bands. so maybe i'll try it out. i just moved into an apartment that has cable.

he punched her, then withheld medical treatment until she admitted she was an other.

hey real quick-

i actually like this record as much almost as the first one. i think they benefit from the poppier production and sometimes the singer sounds a little bit like ray davies here.

i liked that, so i Liked it.

second patti smith song played clearly and at length this season.

wye oak.

obviously we won't know til the album comes out, but this sounds concise, pleasant and not self-indulgent.

i think cold roses is great, too.
