I'm confused, did they only have the rights to Phase 1? Or was the deal for Phase 2 (his actual last album)?

I agree with you so much. It's kind of fitting for 2016 that finality/death looms over three of what I think are the very best records of the year so far (this, Blackstar, & Skeleton Tree).
Don't feel too bad, I did that as well for a number of years. After realizing this however, I made sure that the piss-take lo-fi punk record my band came out with was called "Fermenting Insurrection" to further muddy the misconception.
Fun fact: It doesn't. I get your point, but tell that to the colony of bedbugs that made a goddamn home in my roommate's plastic-ass smoke detector somehow.
To be fair, there were also definitely allegations of domestic abuse in Mel Gibson's case too.
Cool. I demand Prince's love symbol next.
Not to be weird, but where are you located? That's what I'm paying now, but I know a couple hours from where I am (2 at most) I can swing that amount for like $30/35 easy
That's what I used to be able to get it at before I moved to NYC…
It seems like he doesn't after I posted this and looked it up, but fuck guys, if sight unseen this the reaction 100% to someone who might be fatally ill, I might have to reconsider what the average visitor/commenter to this site's become.

"Oculus" is great. Maybe it's just me, but when I saw it I was going through a real rough patch sleep-wise, and that film just perfectly captured the feeling of insomnia/lucid dreaming/sleep paralysis for me in a way that really unsettled.
The thing about Jeremiah is that he was a bullfrog.
Same with my friends! It's just such a wholesome answer in a game full of overwritten "edgy" punchlines, that playing it as a subversion always wins.
Lock up your door, dude…. It's gonna be a long night….
Yeah, I was thinking of those ones, plus "Strangers on a Train" when I said a half dozen masterpieces, but tons of other great ones (Rear Window, The Lodger, The 39 Steps, and hell, even fuckin' Vertigo) were all IPs he optioned.
I mean, I'm a huge Hitchcock fan, but you've gotta admit, a very very large portion of his stuff (at least a half-dozen of his masterpieces) were nothing but adaptations of plays or books/stories.
