Eh, "Tusk" was actually pretty damn good I thought. It was deranged and had a plot so dumb it actually came back around to being kind of genius. Plus, the existential terror of the premise was very effective, and the movie looked pretty good too. "Red State" was also about 2/3s a good movie, until it turned into a

It is better than a C, imo, the only real clunkers are Smith's and the Valentine's Day one. I actually loved St. Pat's, it's a pretty explicit riff on Rosemary''s Baby, but it's got a really strange sense of humor and excellent editing that makes it really fun to watch.

Say…. WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?!?!

Clone High did it.

Goddamn, really throwing the gauntlet down with those three Hitchcock shots in a row, huh? Not that I'm complaining one bit.

I thought they were going to at least show up for a bit in Pt. 2 in Infinity Wars… I mean it'd make sense, since they have the most personal connection to Thanos out of anyone in the MCU.

Yeah, BoJack's second season was a massive improvement over its already pretty good first season.

In all seriousness, I keep saying that they should be developing a half-hour Howard the Duck single-cam sitcom… It's the one genre they haven't really touched on. Have him be a PI in the city with all the random destruction and superhero shit going on in the background; shouldn't be too hard to do after the Guardians

Except Rivers Cuomo showed up Ye's rapping abilities on their new single "Thank God For Girls."

I didn't know the Residents were making an appearance in this! My Excitement level has gone up significantly.

Probably has something to do with union rules, I'd assume. I'm pretty sure the rest of the cast was non-professional Russian actors or just non-union people. It was all shot in Russia, so I'm sure the rules are different there.

Man, I'm just gonna say it, I really enjoyed this movie. It actually had a decent plot, a lot of great action set pieces, and a good sense of humor. That being said, it might very well be the most violent movie I've ever seen (non-horror division, though even in that category, it'd rank fairly high).

Against all odds, this movie wound up being waaaaaaaay better than both Batman v. Superman and Deadpool, which, I mean, I guess doesn't sound like much, but it was actually… dare I say it… Pretty good for what it was.

I think he was in it as a favor or something… He was put in the trailer, which definitely boosted this into looking more like a "real movie" in its ad campaign, and in the credits, its crowdfunding campaign "Special Thanks" section featured a good few Hollywood players that coulda called in that cameo.

He wears enough crazy hats in the film proper to be honest…

I think part of it has to do with the band's continued visibility and relevancy. There's always teenagers discovering Weezer, and hopping onboard the train.

The only thing I took away from the ending is that I gotta get invited to Black Phillip's parties. Dude knows how to throw a fucking banger.

I knew it was never going to happen, but goddamn, during that final scene where the daughter confronts Black Phillip, I really just wanted reverse shots of a dead silent goat during every moment of silence after the questions.

I think it's definitely worth mentioning for all y'all in NYC with even a passing interest in this is that "I Don't Belong Anywhere" is actually playing for free at Film Forum, with tickets given out on a first come, first serve basis. Plus, they've got a new 4K restoration of "Jeanne Dielman" (definitely worth the

Yeah, but wouldn't they then just push the release, not drop it completely and let Netflix swoop in? Something doesn't make sense here…
