Oh, I definitely agree with that. It still doesn't mean you have to send Lorne, though - unless he assumed they'd all die, why not just say 'oh, and anyone who survives this, make sure you kill Lindsey'?

Yup. I definitely think the run of Angel that comes under the heading 'After The Fall' (which still counts as canon, I believe) is worth a look - although it wasn't perfect in execution, it was a fascinating look at where season might have gone - and I loved the scope that the comics gave them in

The first time I ever saw them live was on that tour, and they were great. Nothing from Fables on my setlist though - but, as they started with Finest Worksong and scattered Walk Unafraid and Country Feedback in too, I was more than content.
