BOC's first three albums are keepers - by the time they got to Agents of Fortune I think their need to write commercial songs overthrew the weirdness of structure, lyrics and production that Sandy Pearlman originally brought them to.

I'd agree - Blue Oyster Cults first album is great and Van Halen (like Boston) never topped their first release. When I was in High School, The Cars debut was just as powerful and ubiquitous to FM rock radio.

"Come Sail Away" still makes me want to shove sharp objects into my ears & its funny but I got into Pink Flioyd and punk because of different friends.
