I've always found hearing guys talk about other sex they've had really hot, and I've also always found cheating kind of sexy, but I don't think I would derive any appeal from actually being cheated on. The difference is that in my first example it's like "That was so hot, but I'm with you right now" which in addition

Yeah, not to undersell that rearranged feeling where you are reminded of how much sex you had whenever you go to the bathroom, which is nice, but there's a difference between that and something being actually painful at the time of.

"However, she can’t last as long as I can, and eventually we’ll start
having to use lube and then maybe 30 minutes later, it’ll start to hurt
more." Maybe I am totally missing something out here, but the idea that you would be having sex already for a long time, and then have to start using lube, and then THIRTY

I think the casting works out though, because the fact that Leonardo DiCaprio is young looking but older means that he is plausible as a teenager and as a 20something. I frankly don't think that he looks plausibly 16, even (he was 28 when it was made) but it certainly works for the movie.

In all seriousness, even though this account makes it sound like Chris Brown was the antagonist, it sounds like it could have been more of "a fight" than "getting jumped at random" and I can understand why you wouldn't want to press charges when maybe the other person could plausibly demonstrate physical injury as

Am a Cat

Yeah, the experience of the entire fan base anxiously awaiting an album release and rushing to play it the moment it comes out and then everyone talks about it all weekend afterwards, is actually pretty great, and something we don't experience much anymore.

I'm seriously considering quitting drinking, at least for a while. I got so drunk Friday at a party that I basically felt weird for the entire rest of the weekend even though I stopped being "hungover" after waking up Sunday morning. I heard that this started happening at some point but I'm only 25; seriously? Also

Yeah, me. I will probably change it back eventually. But it was too good an opportunity to pass up.

I've really only seen a handful, in this order:
1. My Neighbor Totoro
2. Spirited Away
3. Kiki's Delivery Service
4. Howl's Moving Castle
5. Princess Mononoke

Me too!

@telabs:disqus Oh cool. It's one from a couple weeks ago I think. I only do Friday and Saturday so I save them if I don't have a chance to finish them the day of.

Oh man. "Whammy bar," a term I have never heard before, is a crossword puzzle answer that has been driving me crazy all day. Thank you so much. Amazing how MBV can enrich one's life on so many different fronts.

@avclub-81fc53c51059936bda7ac43bdcb32449:disqus I actually did exactly the same thing (listened to Bam Thwok last night, inspired by curiosity from mbv). The Pixies are probably favorite band (with MBV in the top five). Yeah, it's better than I remember but still . . . I'm not optimistic.

Yeah, I had a Loveless avatar for a long long time, then when I started posting here more again user brillig had started using that too, so I switched, but here is another great avatar opportunity.

The thing is though, what is worth waiting 21 years? Very little technically is. Having sex? Meeting the person you marry? Having kids? It wasn't like we made the choice to either wait 21 years for it or pass it up so I think "worth waiting for" is kind of a false rubric (though I obviously get what you actually mean).

Yeah, the title is ehh. But the best album title ("Loveless") was already taken though so what do you expect.

I'm not much of an audiophile but I thought the 24bit sounded amazing.
