I really love it so far. I can't believe that it's as good as I hoped it would be.

I had that happen a million times going increasingly crazy and then I tried paying via paypal and it worked immediately.

I too came to the most recent Newswire to see if anyone was talking about it. Oh man.

@avclub-fe0181fa11124a8385473ce0f639460a:disqus Yo I found another solution!

OK, apparently this is an unpopular opinion. I read them when I was maybe 15 or so and I cannot imagine seeing any appeal as an adult. NOT because they're comic books, I really like comic books, but because of the philosophical content. It just seems really teenage to me. It's like, I can't understand why anyone would

The first season isn't that great (on a technical level) but the second season is probably the best of all seven seasons. It's not melodramatic, it's actually dramatic. Many can argue about seasons 6 and 7 (I love, love, love 6 so am not the best person to ask) but you are unqualifiedly missing out if you don't see

You're nuts! Shut the Door, Have a Seat is great but FAR from the first great episode. I think we all have a tendency to mistake recentness for higher quality. Something newer strikes as as more compelling simply because we have been with the characters longer and so are more emotionally attached to them in the later

I wasn't allowed to watch it as a kid so I've seen like 10 episodes ever. I don't think I'll ever see the whole thing. I know you can kind of jump in in most places and I even got a season out of the library once but it's not something that's been a priority to me.

I like Neil Gaiman and all, but is there any point in reading Sandman for the first time (or even, a repeat time) as an adult?

Mine is definitely Star Trek. I know I'd like it but I just feel like it's too late for me now. Everyone who is a Star Trek fan already has their identities cemented as Star Trek fans.

It might not be Stockholm syndrome or abuse victim trauma or whatever. She could just be an idiot. Lots of famous people are!

@avclub-8d2583b317ce1bd4962cec8605c5676a:disqus Really? That's interesting to consider.
Obviously he is "so" awful, but is he truly more so than other famous people? I mean, there are so many awful people, but few are famous. Is he the most-awful person of his level of fame? If not, I can see that being a point. But

I cannot second this enough, it is totally the greatest thing ever created.

I have never heard anyone use that as a term before but I immediately knew what was meant by it. I guess I technically predate internet porn but I have never found any despite living near woods.

@brillig Aw, no need to change on my account. I am pretty fond of Porn Lindsay so it works out.

@avclub-22eda830d1051274a2581d6466c06e6c:disqus You think about stuff without actually looking at anything.

I was introduced to them here, on the AV Club, like five years ago. Likewise, SO much else of the stuff I listen to and love now. People used to talk about music way more on here. Now it seems like it's all TV and new film releases.

Incidentally, that was MY avatar for a long, long, long time and then when I started posting here semi-regularly again, brillig had it so I decided to change. I'm ok with my current one but I prefer the MBV one.

Really? It blew my mind the first time I heard it.

@avclub-81fc53c51059936bda7ac43bdcb32449:disqus Me toooooooo. Oh my god.
