@avclub-74c585d99078f09ef754419ed0a6150c:disqus Oh yeah, I didn't think you were making the moral judgment, but society.

Meanwhile my parents didn't move in together until after I was born!

@avclub-74c585d99078f09ef754419ed0a6150c:disqus That's true. I don't know how much of a moral difference that makes. I do know a decent amount of people in real life who only moved in together once they got engaged (in our current day and age, that is).

Talia Balsam is great. I've only seen her in "mom" roles though. She plays the mom in The Wackness and also in No Strings Attached.

Wow, you're right. I had no idea! They do have fantastic chemistry.

That's probably why I've seen it, Mad Men is the only thing I've watched live on TV in the past three or four years.

That's true. I think they have done it before though, I'm pretty sure Sally and/or Bobby have slept over at Don's on a school night before, but maybe that was before they moved houses. I'm not sure if we have seen any good indication of if the Francises now live further from the city, or about the same distance. My

Yeah, that's always the way with diaspora populations. It's like how you can find even more nationalist assholes among people from the former Yugoslavia living in America, because they don't have to live with and get along with other groups and instead have to constantly reiterate their identity in order to retain it.

I agree, that would be much better.

"YA Why?" is a terrible name for a series. I cringe whenever I see it.

I agree. Even though they talked about camp, that was definitely boarding school. It still makes you wonder why Sally and Bobby aren't in school, but maybe it's a weekend. Could be a holiday weekend like Columbus Day, which would makes sense if Betty and Henry are out of town for the weekend.
I was going to say that he

Joan and Greg moved in together before getting married.

Shirley Temples are synonymous with "childhood drink" and also with being at an event for adults where you're trying to seem grown up and adults are indulgently also pretending you're grown up.

I really like the ad idea but I'm a sucker for shit like that. The same idea was used in an ad a couple years ago. I think it was for something laundry related. I really liked that one too.

This is getting a little old I think.

I agree, "oral or vaginal sex," what the fuck. She's twelve, stop talking about it!

I agree with others that I think she's legit happy about moving in together. I feel like a lot of girls would feel the same way. She was legitimately excited about the idea of a proposal, but she hadn't really thought it through or adjusted to it, and probably doesn't want to get married right away, especially

I agree. I don't think it's acting.

Sally "discovering adulthood" was a stinger on the episode and did not in any way constitute its main plot. She's already "discovered adulthood" about a million times (to put as broad a brushstroke on it as possible) so I highly doubt they were trying to work that as a theme.

I laughed out loud at that.
