I know AV club loves Lupe and all (so do I) but this album sucks. Even if we were to just examine this as a pop album and not a lupe album (dropping all expectations and biases comparing it to his past work) this album is still bad. It's riddled with cheap production (shitty beats and generic pop choruses…

…and one last Clarification. When I say "most" - I mean the mainstream audiences that don't post on AV Club or sites like this. I trust that most of you do know what the show was about, and have done a wonderful job explaining why you ended up hating/disliking the show.
