By the time I turned 18, Drunk, I had learned the hard lesson that the goodness I assumed was in the world and other people was nearly always never there - or at least I became blind to it. The innocence and beauty I saw into things in my childhood became blurred and gone.

Caught the film On Demand this weekend and wow - deeply moving and unsettling. I highly recommend it.
