As though I needed an excuse to post my favorite Dave Foley moment from NewsRadio (sorry this has nothing to do with this episode of The Middle, which I thoroughly enjoyed)

Thrilled to see you guys take a look at this show.. I had discovered it almost incidentally but was thankfully able to see an episode of it at the Museum of TV & Radio years ago. It's such a pretty good example of a brilliant but canceled series and it's actually even more fun to watch now considering how famous

Start reviewing this show regularly! Toby turning to the dark side is perhaps the best example of the show's audacity, but not the only one. The show really hasn't gotten enough credit for fully creating a world in which any combination of outcomes is possible. To be honest the last show that created so many

I think it's at least on par with Revenge and far more together and confident than Ringer (or Gossip Girl for that matter ever was). It's capable of some really well-executed long-term twists and I'd like to see it reviewed critically on its merits.

I watch the show that way, generally more conscious of the show's plotting, pacing, quality.. I wish more people did, there are so many cultural allusions (the use of Hedda Gabler deserves a special merit) and some extremely well-executed plot twists. The AV Club has covered Revenge, Ringer, I think it would make

I'm happy to see you'll be reviewing Pretty Little Liars. I think there's a double standard against the show because of the network and conceit. It definitely takes place in its own world but then, doesn't Revenge? Or Twin Peaks? (No coincidence that the two shows share a few directors.) It's surprisingly ambitious

I guess my ultimate problem with the latter seasons is that so many character accentuations came into full form - Elaine's complete apathy toward George, Jerry's incredulousness with George's inane schemes, George's turns in paranoia and cheapness - but they were wasted, not because the episodes weren't funny, but

I think The Merv Griffin is indicative of the tonal shift of Seinfeld post-Larry David, which overall I have trouble comparing to the earlier seasons. Seinfeld used to be a show very in touch with social cues and real-life dynamics, moreso than any sitcom at the time: Waiting at a Chinese restaurant, getting lost in a
