Successful celebrity gossip sites really need a point of view other than "This shit sure is stupid, huh?" which is all that Starwipe ever really managed. The writing needs to be more in on the joke than that. I think of something like DListed, where they definitely make fun of the absurdity of celebrity culture but

That's incredible. That reminds me of one time a guy I knew had his car keyed and somebody carved "fag baby" into his door, and he couldn't even get that upset about it because it was such a patently ridiculous insuilt.

Who: Big Jay Oakerson, who had a Hatesong up about Seal and said some racist shit about him

I only checked it because after I was reading about the Hatesong article I was like, "This seems like exactly the type of dude who would then have a meltdown about CENSORSHIP." And lo and behold, I was right!

He's tweeting about how he keeps calling her and she won't pick up the phone and how he's going to do an interview and get his revenge on her etc. etc. type of weird shit. Not actually threatening or anything but just a disproportionate response IMO.

Off topic but has anybody else seen the hissy fit that Big Jay Fuckface or whatever his name is is having over on Twitter? The amount of rage he's displaying towards Marah is…disturbing.

Defying Gravity is one of those songs that I feel like is only considered a standard because it has the air of a song that should be really important. I will defend most musicals against the haters but aside from Kristin Chenoweth, Wicked is…the worst.

Tom is the worst, and Aziz Ansari's nasally delivery of all of his lines doesn't help. You are not better than Jean-Ralphio, good sir, get rid of those high and mighty airs!

I think they mostly filmed this season last summer and The Color Purple didn't open until late last year or so, so I'm hoping that she had enough time to do both without any cuts. That is the version of reality I am going to choose to believe until my hope is snatched away from me at the last minute as always.

I feel like I answer Clueless to half of these things but that is a movie that always reminds me that humor doesn't have to be unkind and we can tell stories about people who are mostly good and mostly mean well. It is a movie that has served me well over the years when I need to feel some hope.

I am one of the few that loved season 3 wholeheartedly (though I think season 2 is overall better mostly because it's an astonishingly amazing season of television). In particular, I'm excited to see the continued development of Pennsatucky and my newfound OTP Poussey and So-So. Crossing my fingers that Danielle

Hipster lumberjack culture is maybe the worst thing to have come out of the internet. I have a former friend who was into that shit and had the ugliest, nastiest beard that was the centerpiece of his personal identity (his usernames on social media would be things like LUMBERJACKBEARDMAN6969). This was all accompanied

God I love Daveed Diggs. How can one man have so much charisma and talent and such a beautiful smile on top of it all? I swoon.

There's no way Daveed Diggs isn't winning that thing unless all the Hamilton actors split the votes and give it to Christopher Fitzgerald.

I will never understand why our theater scene is as bad as it is. There are so many actors RIGHT THERE. Just perform some shit and let me throw my money at you!

I saw Blair Witch years after all of the discourse around it had slowed down, and through most of the movie I was like, "Yeah this is pretty creepy and it's well done enough," but then that end sequence happened and no! That shit was scary! It's dark outside and I don't even want to think about it now!

Maybe this is because I am part of the generation that grew up with the Harry Potter franchise, but I never understand why people hate the first two films so much. I can see why people might see them as too slavishly devoted to the books, but I'd take those over the incomprehensible clusterfuck that was Order of the

Objection! Lin-Manuel was only a recurring cast member on Dr. Face Hands, not a regular, which I think might be even worse.

I would maybe empathize more with this position if the Walking Dead was filled with great performances from the rest of its cast instead of white male after white male sinking to the level of the writing and nothing more. Take it up with the casting director.

All of those years of feet binding have given me a very soft tread.
