I infinitely prefer GOT to OOTP, which I found interminable—but my favorite HP film is HBP, an opinion I have found is shared by very few. It was basically the only one that tried to be funny, and Harry Potter was often very funny, okay!

She was only eighteen when Bring It On came out!

Was he? I haven't read the book since I was eight so honestly my primary memories are of over-identifying with Jo and being mystified when narrative convention didn't play out as I expected.

I can't wait to have my heart broken by the Laurie/Amy marriage in yet another iteration. LAURIE LOVED YOU, JO. IT WAS MEANT TO BE.

Look at the Duggar catastrophe and tell me that there isn't a political aspect to how pedophilia is treated and discussed.

I don't know, I think that pedophilia is one of the most politically charged issues that there is, and Hard Candy is making a statement about it.

Yeah, and I think an ending like that would reinforce the idea that we shouldn't believe accusations of sexual abuse because the guy is never ACTUALLY an abuser.

I would have HATED an ending like that, which would play into all sorts of horrible cultural narratives about how abusers are never abusers.

I always disliked him, but this shit is what made me loathe him.

You keep using this word "jabroni" and…it's awesome!

C: I could put the trash into a landfill, where it's going to stay for millions of years, or I could burn it up, get a nice smokey smell in here, and let that smoke go into the sky where it turns into stars.
M: That doesn't sound right, but I don't know enough about stars to dispute it.

Cats do not abide by the laws of nature, alright? You don't know shit about cats.

Oh, and how could I forget Mac's love letter to Chase Utley? Oh shit, there's stickers.

C: No, I mean, did you discover a bird with teeth in this fashion?
D: That does not exist in nature.
C: Okay, I'm not sure, but either way, good glue work.

I sing at least a few lines from the Dayman musical to myself almost every single day. "Troll toll" gets some surprising mileage.

Frank Reynolds: he was a dick of a father

1) Dee gradually turning into a bird at the Halloween party until she's finally just an ostrich
2) Mac's attempt at a dance off, which he immediately loses
3) KITTEN MITTONS (overplayed, but overplayed for a reason)
4) Charlie's diary/the spa day

That's probably my favorite episode of the entire series. The cutaway of the figurines getting smashed at the end is a transcendent moment.

Q: Dennis is asshole. Why Charlie hate?
A: Because he is a bastard man.

"Charlie, I do a backflip every single day of my life" might be my pick.
