Does anyone know what music cue that is when Baltar and Six go into the proscenium and whatnot at the end of the episode? I don't tend to notice music in tv shows, but I particularly loved that part of the score (and have failed at finding it on the internet).

I still have only seen a tiny fraction of Simpsons episodes because I find the task so incredibly daunting at this point. If it ever ends up on streaming I might have a better chance.

I still have a scary amount of Yu-Gi-Oh knowledge in my brain—not even of the actual card game, but of plot details from the television series. Playing a card game has caused me to become severely injured!

The Simpsons was the only TV show I was banned from watching as a kid (and yet my parents intentionally showed me Twin Peaks when I was nine—I STILL DON'T UNDERSTAND).

I had a HUGE crush on Spike as a kid. I also thought that he and Buffy had a totally normal and healthy relationship, which is beyond horrifying in retrospect. Now that I am an adult I can realize that I also had a huge crush on Willow, because who doesn't have a huge crush on Willow?

I am forever grateful that when my mom finally got around to watching a few episodes and realized how horribly inappropriate the show was for a six-year-old, she decided that she might as well just start watching it with me because Buffy was a good role model. That's why as a small Jewish child I was allowed to wear a

Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I think I've seen every episode at least 50 times because I meticulously taped each episode as it aired and rewatched each episode over and over and over again through all of elementary school. I used to go to volleyball practice and pretend to be Buffy to make myself hit the ball harder.

I am honestly glad to be ignorant of the nuances of barcode/microchip-related damnation.

This reads like a parody of someone bitching about film criticism, so I'm going to choose to believe that it is, because I refuse to believe that anyone could get so hyperbolic in their defense of Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves.

I love how transparent the UN thing is. "We hate the UN! It seems vaguely like a communist thing to do! Anti-Christ, Anti-Christ, Anti-Christ!"

I think a lot of them believe that we need to create a totalitarian, militaristic state so that when Jesus comes back, he can assume the role of commander and kill all the unworthies. So basically, yes.

As a fellow Jew, I look to Willow Rosenberg for my godly inspiration.

I had a friend who was raised as an evangelical Christian explain some elements of wackadoo Christianity to me recently. Apparently there are a lot of evangelicals who have gradually incorporated aspects of the Left Behind novels into their theology over the years, including that the Anti-Christ is going to be some

I could have even dealt with their over-poweredness if "WE MUST DEFEAT THE ORIGINALS" hadn't been the main plot point for so long. You can't do it! Move on, please!

The introduction of the Originals as characters was the beginning of the end in terms of the moral compass on TVD making absolutely ZERO sense instead of being something that you just didn't want to think about too hard. Klaus as a villain I enjoyed—Klaus who was still a villain and murdering people but was also now

I'm still so bummed that the AV Club isn't covering TVD anymore. I gave up on the show somewhere in the middle of season 4 and the AV Club recaps were how I kept up with what was going on to see if I wanted to come back. Now how am I supposed to know!

Heather is sooooooo damn slow. She is otherwise inoffensive to me but it's like she won't just settle for choosing clues slowly, she has to physically say the answers in a way that takes up as much time as possible.

I thought the "unicorn" thing applied to MF couples who wanted a bisexual woman to hookup with for threesomes, not MF couples looking for a long term relationship with a bisexual woman. I've found a whole LOT of the former (not because I wanted to, but because saying "bisexual woman" is like a homing beacon for a lot

Yeah, I've actually never even bothered to watch Simon Birch, though I'm a huge John Irving fan, because I've never heard anybody say anything other than it's the WORST MOVIE EVER.

The Door in the Floor is a great adaptation—Jeff Bridges in particular is so pitch perfect. I'm also not crazy about the rest of Widow for One Year, though (SPOILERS FOR THE BOOK) the call back with the mole man murdering the prostitute in Amsterdam is the part of the book that sticks out most strongly to me since it
