All this talk about Salon in this weeks thread got me to go to Salon. Click on "TV" and the first two headlines:

I think the low point of the show was when Deb not only apologized to Dexter but PROFUSELY apologized, and then demanded, as she lay in a hospital bed post-op with a bullet hole still in her gut that he go with his girl and son and be happy. Made me ill.

Yeah, I almost forgot that Walt Jr. still legitimately believes Walt himself killed Hank. Really adds some extra punch to the yelling fit.

disagree…. Walt blames Jesse for getting Hank killed. He's not going to forgive that. Its possible the ricin is for himself though.

Ethical line such as….. he's not a murderer? Even someone of average greed would not murder someone for any amount of money. Easy to forget that watching Breaking Bad. haha

What does finding the corpses have to do with anything? YOU know where they are, so you've got your closure. The discussion about it at the beginning of the episode was only to comfort Marie in the car, the car with Marie was only to show how the broken-into Schrader household was discovered.

I like product placement if its not obnoxious. Nothing ruins a fictitious world for me like generic product appearance.

Who agrees the ricin is for Elliot and Gretchen???

I think something missing from the episode is how Walt fills his time at the cabin, and knowing Walt, he probably would have done something like…. fiddle around with a long broken ham radio? Finally get it working with some parts he found around the property. Then spend his many lonely hours listening, when one day…

It didn't just happen to occur. Last episode Andrea's photo was posted in the lab to motivate Jesse, and in this episode the tool he used to escape came directly from that photo. So it was not a non-sensical logical error out of left field. If you think its excessively brutal, you're watching the wrong show.

After the show was over, I was shocked to look at the time and find it was not a 3 hour series finale… it seemed at least that long.

I enjoy reading AVclub, but this review is about 30% too long.

"Jesse" is the male spelling, "Jessie" is the female spelling. I'm not sure why you got that wrong but….. you did.

I really don't see any reason they should have deleted this or block you. You don't say anything racist or promote violence against the writer. In fact, you only did to him what he did to Aaron Paul.

Notice the same shot of the knives in the cold open and in the moment Skyler takes her stand? Cool.

Running out of ideas. They're not clever/diligent enough to have done otherwise.
