Apparently, @avclub-cfe912f5cb3aa572bd1c9ae2a9b82207:disqus, there has been a recent, gradual emergence of critical reappraisal in regards to "Under Capricorn." I've read a few reviews describing the flick as an *unjustly overlooked* Hitchcock masterpiece. With that in mind and eager to discover an under-seen

Yeah, I really enjoyed what they did with Taylor. She starts off as a completely unlikeable twat during the dark days of season 3, but after some time and development, she ended up being the show's ace in the hole.

Oh, I dunno about Adam, @avclub-29501df08e5d9ae59e432e4f188d3735:disqus. Maybe this is just me being fundamentally incapable of ever disliking a character played by Paul Rudd, but I would see Adam as a sympathetic victim. You just want to wrap him in a blanket by the end of the movie.

In junior year of high school, my English class was assigned "Intruder in the Dust." That was one long month of bitching from the students, myself included. Nonetheless, I was intrigued enough by my first experience with Faulkner to choose "The Sound and the Fury" to read for another assignment the following year. All

"KEITH HERNANDEZ?!"

Glad you and the interviewer brought this up. I've been dying to see this movie for awhile, now, but am having a tough go at it. My local video store here in Houston has a VHS copy, but it appears to be the heavily edited version. Is the unedited version at all available on DVD or VHS in the States?

Honestly, I never got much of the Jack-hate, or the Kate-hate for that matter. I feel like the worst thing you could say about those characters are that they simply weren't as interesting as the folks around them. A point of complaint - sure. But outright contempt? Nah.

"I use the stirring sticks to push back my cuticles! Everyone knows that, JERRY!"

Yes, Gob is a terrific choice.

With Anna Lucia, I held more exasperation with the wheel-spinning of the show than the actual character. Michelle Rodriguez certainly brought her A-game and did the best she could with what she had (and if nothing else, she certainly bounced off Josh Holloway very well), but at the end of the day, any time spent with

Man, Eckhart kills it in that movie. The most amazing that about ITCOM, the first time I watched it, was that by the very end, I ended up siding with him more than his lesser half, the Howard character. Eckhart might be an unrepentant, evil sociopath, but at least he's upfront about it.

"Come on! I said gangway for the foot-cycle!"

Oh, nice. But I gotta go with Jason Compson on this one, sir.

Those are all great examples. Sherry Palmer really was a whole lot of fun to watch.

Marissa Cooper.

How was that Ferguson book? It looked decent but I've yet to read it.

I agree with @avclub-7160c7db52df96e5fe196a6c9ce73f83:disqus . Although I certainly didn't *hate* Kick-Ass, I nonetheless felt bored any time Nicolas Cage or Chloe Grace Moretz weren't on screen.

Well, Season 3 was frustrating. But I managed to hold on to hope.

He's got a point about "Hudsucker", though. That one deserves more love.

Yeah, Hannibal is frustrating. Between that cast, Ridley Scott directing, and the beautiful locales, all the elements are there for an interesting, solid movie. But the thing is such a mess. To mention only one grievance of many - when you have Clarice Starling spending a good portion of the movie in front of a
