Alias. Season 3.

I enjoy The Ten the same way I enjoy the likes of Role Models and Wet Hot American Summer. Wain and company's comedies tend to be hit or miss and all over the place, but I feel like it's that very inconsistency that gives them a certain charm. Plus, when they're funny, they're *funny*.

Isn't this fun, though? I love that HIMYM has become the "Lost" of sitcoms.

Agreed, @avclub-c7684d43035cba8fe351d14a41209dc5:disqus . I'm still on the fence about this episode (those last minutes with Ted and Robin aggravated me more than it interested me), but we should all raise our hats to Cobie tonight. She did a hell of a job with this episode.

I was describing a criticism of Ford that I then criticized in turn for being too narrow-minded, fellas. That's all. You're on the money, @avclub-997c221538094d134659141cf61d51e3:disqus , to bring up the HUAC business, an admirable Ford moment if there ever was one.

I was excited when I saw that you brought this up. "They Were Expendable" is a terrific war movie, with some action sequences and photography that are impressive even by today's standards.

First
things first – I’ve yet to see “The Artist,” but I don’t want anyone to get the
impression that I’m either praising or shitting on a flick I haven’t
experienced.

Oh, and I've been thoroughly enjoying revisiting "Scrubs" along with your write-ups, Myles. For a show so constantly shit-on, it's nice to read these coming from someone who takes the good and the bad qualities seriously and thoughtfully. I'm looking forward to Season 2.

Myles's point about Turk's blatant and foolish playing of the race-card with Dr. Wen and Bonnie being a tough cookie to swallow is a fair one, but I feel like this is made up for in spades by Donald Faison's brilliant delivery of, "You two ever notice how you're both *Asian*?" It's like Turk knows how much shit he'll

I'm enjoying your coverage of the festival, Mr. Rabin. I could never have predicted that a documentary about Crocker would actually sound pretty interesting, but now I'm intrigued.

To hell with that. He's Elvis Presley in the '70s.

Good call. "Buffalo" is one of her best songs.

Ha, Christ. I'm sorry.

Any Jack-Will exchange is never awesome.

It's not even a big moment in terms of the whole grand scheme of Alias, but that's one of the best scenes of the show, IMO,
when Vaughn agrees to question Irena himself, and that sad, weepy
Irena-Derevko-is-in-the-mix-y'all music swells up as he's walking to her cell, and he can barely bring himself to look her into
