I suggest sticking with Pulling. I don't know what your reservations are with Sex and the City, but the reason I always disliked it was how un-self-aware it was—the characters are obviously crippled by some serious emotional issues. Pulling does not shy away from that.

I know there are people (especially around here) who loathe Friends with a hatred generally reserved for someone who murdered the family dog, but I defy any of them to come up with a sitcom that did a better Thanksgiving episode.
