"All Your Gold" was my favorite after the first listen, but "Laura" has grown on me so much. It's probably cliche to call it 'haunting', especially in the context of this album, but it actually is.

Gotta say, I had higher hopes for Bad Education than it was able to deliver.

Another Dodger fan here! This past week has been a roller-coaster of emotion—mostly varying shades of disgust. Detroit had better win this whole thing (and start having better 9th innings). I think if we get a Giants-Yankees Series I'll have to self-institutionalize for the duration, just so I don't harm myself or…

I like everything about this show EXCEPT for this Tommy-Kate thing, which is confusing. I just don't see any chemistry between them

Hey, UK AV-Clubbers, are you guys watching "Cuckoo"? Its fourth episode is tonight—is the show worth watching?

It's for us Angelenos. The first time they did it, I swear I laughed harder than I've laughed at anything SNL for about a decade. But it should have been a one-off sketch—it wore thin on its second outing and now is completely threadbare. They've made the parodic point and there's nothing else to say.

I'm continuously baffled about Thompson's presence on the show. His unfunniness is the most consistent thing about SNL these days.

I thought of Veep more than once in today's episode, especially when Peter asks Phil and Emma to argue against their firing, very much echoing when Selena's debating between firing Amy, Dan, or Mike.

That tirade is basically why I didn't like this episode as much as the last two. It just felt too harsh even for Malcolm. Glenn's best as a sad sack, but, oof, that was hard to watch.

It felt a bit exposition-y to me. Hard to reach the dizzying heights of the last two episodes, though.
