I don't know if this part was shown in the documentary but I remember Baker completely throwing Bartman under the bus after that game… Saying something like "I don't know who he was, but he couldn't have been a Cubs fan." I've reveled in his baseball managing failures ever since.
Even though I also like Simon Cowell, too many reality shows try to force the Simon-Paula-Randy dynamic. I find the consistent positivity on this show refreshing… and appropriate, because this show doesn't waste time entering terrible singers that the audience can boo and the judges can rip.
I liked The Chronic but it ruined hip hop.
