Every week she gets more and more dead. That look when she said KGB. Later.

It took me until this episode in the rewatch to realize why season 5 was by far the weakest of the show so far. Nearly every "good" character in the show — more so, the characters we root for — took a significant step backward in their development, some of whom even wound up right back where they started. Sansa's is

Yup. What was he supposed to do with the baby if he had been locked in there? I couldn't get past that.

The most obvious surprise in the world ruined what was a pretty solid episode. I like where Lip's storyline is going and I would include Ian and Carl if the people attached to it didn't suck.

BANSHEE MOTHERFUCKERS!

Worst new character on these shows since DJ Douchebag on Arrow.

Cece seems to have absorbed some of Winston's personality through the messarounds and it's so wonderful.

This show used to make me smile a lot and I did twice during this episode. Ian and Lip together toasting to Carl and Gus left standing there like a jackass were wonderful moments. Almost a regretful experience because it reminds you of how good this show could be.

I may be wrong, but hopefully she's back in the fold to get Lip back on his shit. Even if it's that Brina girl. Just please god do not let his arc end with him turning into Frank. That's HIMYM/Dexter finale level bad.

Lena Dunham's explanation of his casting on the inside the episode thing was amazing. She basically said that Andrew Rannells is such a hunk that they had to find some sort of super mega hunk for the role and that Stoll was perfect. Indeed.

"Who the hell is Sammy?"

I've gotten over how much the writers include Debbie and Frank despite how absolutely unbearable they are, but they don't get away with what they are doing with Lip and Ian this season. I'm soooooo surprised another Showtime show is going down the gutter in these deep seasons. Damn it.

I don't blame you if you make it to any point within the first three episodes and stop, but I thought after that point was some of the best work this show has ever done.

Couldn't agree more. First 3 episodes were slightly better than season 3 — but not by much — and then it was some of the best work since seasons 1 and 2 the rest of the way.

Terrific episode that brought back memories of the first couple of seasons. They used the same songs from the pilot in this episode. Also, Meredith on top of a patient, putting pressure down on the wound that had a ton of blood and waiting for an elevator to move was the same situation she was in with that bike

MISS. HOT. LADY. YOU. GOT IT.

Amazing episode. I don't want to say the show is better without Jess, but Reagan puts the roommates in different situations. Fox is also very very good and I am thankful that they didn't dive head first into something with her and Nick.

That killed me. It was so quick.

I honestly thought the scene at the hospital was his semi sendoff. I guess not.

Seemed like every character was at an 11 with their horribleness, but I suppose that's somewhat needed for the season opener. Fun episode.
