What I love about that character is how not dark it is. A lot of the usual characters get into some weird, dark places, but you can imagine this John Lennon having a Saturday morning cartoon. It's fine having darkness, but Lennon is a nice contrast to some of them.

That's one of the things that annoys me the worst. He come out, before having done anything, with tweets and comments like "Just coz you're offended, doesn't mean you're right" and "Get ready for some dangerous, edgy, controversial, put your hands over your mouths comedy!"

Came here to say she is so right about Gervais, especially the part about people declaring themselves 'edgy' before even saying anything. That's something he does ALL the time.
