This tour was pretty straightforward in regards to song selection.  Every song was from this year with the exception of "Pink", "Statement", and "1970".   So nothing from obscure vinyl only releases or splits.

Yes that is true.  I haven't heard the cd, only the vinyl.  They are still the same mixes.  I guess its similar to Pink with the vinyl versions of a few tracks…"Farewell", "My Machine" and another I think being longer but other than that sounding the same.  Not like US Smile and Japan Smile which sound different.

The mix of "Black Original" is different and much better than the one on the Heavy Rock Hits single.

I love Boris.  They are one of my favorite bands.  I think New Album is great.  I got the Japanese LP in the spring and enjoy this record more than Attention Please or Heavy Rocks.

The only difference is that "Luna" has replaced "Black Original".  The mixes are the same in both releases.

Most of the music I listen is by people who are dead too.  Just the way it is.

Listening to A Thousand Leaves as I saw this.  A Thousand Leaves was the first new album that Sonic Youth released after I became a fan (in 1996).  Will always have a soft spot for that album.

This morning I saw Dean Richards on WGN give it a B+…and J Edgar a B.

As much as I prefer the sound of the original Smile recordings I also like having the lyrics complete as in the 2004 version.  Especially "In Blue Hawaii"  I really like that one with vocals.

Well we may be in the minority.  That place was half full at best.  An incredible band and only $18!  I expected more people.  I guess the terrible weather may have kept some people away and plus Boris didn't start until 11pm.  Not very convenient.  Worth it though.

I just stopped by to mention that the Boris show last night in Chicago was great.  They definitely know what they are doing.  Go see them if you get the chance.

I can see that.  I definitely haven't seen any of his stand up.  I know politicians always seem more reasonable when they have a bigger audience so I guess the same could be true for comics.

While I am not a huge fan of his and haven't seen his show or any of his movies I do find him kind of funny.  I relate it (though not equate it) with how I find Naked Gun type things funny.  I am laughing because of how ridiculous or stupid it is.
