There was a brief and glorious moment where they actually were.
Stewart hosting SNL around 1991- check it out.

Are you saying these girls are in danger?

Well, being black they probably already knew each other, right?

Every now and then I keep checking to see if Google has a recent fly over to see the Costa Concordia wreck.  It'll happen eventually.

He's like a real-life Jasmine!

Lord Gaga, that is exactly how I chose Progressive (before they had a mascot).  And I told them that was the reason:  I thought of all the companies that seemed more serious because they didn't have wacky characters and then called them.
And then they went and got one anyway.

She was also FIles and Records at Wolfram & Hart.  Literally.

Soooo….no one thought Roger murdering someone with a sword- completely out of nowhere- was a bit much?  Kind of draws attention to how this was another fantasy one-off episode.  Well, that and Steve getting huge in the big house.

You know that you just described every other woman out there, right?

Your No Prize is in the No Mail!

Nope.  Just as painful to watch.  If you won't buy a William Hung CD then you'd certainly love someone doing an entire CD with a spot on impersonation?  Probably not.
NOW, I would notwatch the Bachelor or that ilk, but I loved Joe Millionaire.
It's all execution.  I liked last year's QOJ ep enough.  Hated this one.

I believe it was, "you People" which makes it a Jewish thing- cut to Annie's reaction.

There really is little difference- lampooning this format so exactly or being this kind of show.  I HATED this episode just as I have a disregard for these Bravo shows.  Couldn't stand watching it play out.  My least favorite 30 Rock ever.  Same goes for Community last week.  Exactly like the best Law and Order = one

Now THAT line actually differed in different cuts of the movie.
Bleg!  WHY do I know these things?

So, that's how the line was delivered in the radio drama or something?

Piano!

HipsterDbag, you are right.  This isn't so much a list of iconic snare intros so much as songs those at the AVClub know that happen to have a snare up front.  Hawai'i 5-0 is a good choice though as is Every Little Thing….
If you aren't familiar folks- check out Hal Blaine's intro on Dick Dale's first version of THE
