Well not to be cynical but Ganz isn't going to quit unless she's got another job. McKenna signed some sort of developmental deal with Universal so I wouldn't have been surprised to see him leave anyway. Haven't heard anything about Ganz though. Solidarity or not, people gotta eat!

I'm gonna give the writers the benefit of the doubt and say that it's just another example of Theon's general incompetence and being-in-over-his-headness to forget to change the banners.

That's really interesting. I didn't think of it that way at the time. I look at the last few seconds more as a thing where Tyrion couldn't bring himself to comfort his crying sister. Like he wanted to hug her but he knows how much she hates him and what should have been a nice moment just turned into awkwardness.
