That's truly a shame. The first episode didn't wow me but for me Issa Rae's web series "The Misadventures of Awkward Black Girl" has earned her quite a bit of latitude for me. And I've been waiting for this show for literal years. I can't wait to see how it grows.

This was the best line of the night.

I didn't have much respect for Ray Romano until I saw him in Parenthood. Despite the show erroneously shifting focus from the core, Braverman, family to his ex-wife and child in the last season, his performance remains one of my favorite parts of the latter seasons.

I am not too proud to admit that I watched this to get my Malek fix between season one's finale and season two's premier.

It's funny that you say that because despite agreeing that he still looks good, I couldn't help but notice how much he has aged while watching this episode. I have however seen every episode of Law and Order: SVU up until 2011 a least 3 times, so I'm probably more familiar with/more used to young BD Wong than most

She acknowledged a person who it is implied watches over Elliot, but she didn't state that it was their mother.

Wasn't it implied that Sidney has greater status than the other demons? This is pure speculation but maybe that is why his possession wasn't quite so difficult.

I couldn't imagine a scenario where I hated someone (who hasn't injured me or my family) so much that I would let an entire town believe they were insane/mock their brutal attack. But, I've also never been a teenage boy.

At this point I'm having a hard time believing Kyle is completely human. Disregarding his magical powers, the man can take multiple beatings like none other. Any normal person would be like Bruce Wayne at the beginning of DKR at this point.

2. If you're referring to Mildred, I'm fairly certain she died. As for the others, I was under the impression that the length of a possession correlates with the likelihood that an exorcised person ends up comatose/catatonic. Sidney seems to be there to facilitate the merge (whatever that is).

I hear it's Nick Fury's breakfast of choice.

As a Texan, my opinion is that the drawl is more of an urban/rural thing. Texans who grow up in large cities don't have the expected accent (we have one, it's just not as notable), but the further into the country you go the more pronounced it becomes.

I didn't consider the comment on aristocracy but now that you mention it, it is a nice interpretation of Jekyll/Hyde. Although, when Jekyll related the news of his father's death, I immediately became suspicious of him. We never did learn how his father died.

My issue with Claire's insistence on preserving Frank's life was that she was dismissing the possible ramifications attempting to prevent Culloden would also have on the future. I can understand how the two thoughts could remain completely divorced in her mind, but it made it appear as if she had not truly considered

While I don't get a Hallmark vibe, there's something about your commentary that does resonate with me. I wonder though, if it's just the fact that Outlander is a show that resides, unapologetically, in the tumultuous emotions of a female protagonist and we're primed to relate that to the networks you've mentioned (as

That's a serious spoiler I really wish you hadn't shared. Sigh

Fun fact: My aunt dated Michael Bivins of Bell Biv DeVoe. I can't prove this to you without violating her privacy, but I hope you'll trust that it's too specific to be a lie.

I was going to threaten to fight you for him, but instead I'm going to hope he's bi and poly.

I had similar thoughts, but wasn't Viktor a virgin before Lily? While I definitely felt romantic/sexual tendon between the two, I doubt their relationship became physical.
