"Revenants" comes from the verb revenir, which means to return. It's a play on words.

This should be interesting. I hope it is more The Pacific than Band of Brothers. The strategic bombing campaign is fascinating in its ethical dilemmas, and the history and remembrance of it has been really politicized and revisionist.
England ≠ United Kingdom
The Thick of It deleted scenes from series 4.
People tend to assume Walt was forced out because he seems to think he was cheated, which is sort of a weird assumption to make based on what we know about Walt. Gretchen probably only called his bean dip "good" instead of "magnificent" or something, and Walt had to quit to assuage his ego.
The monoliths represent evolution.
I enjoyed that Breaking Bad a lot. I've always had a fondness for place-setting episodes if they're done well, because I just love the simmering tension and general feel of unease.
I'm not wild about them, but they have a lot of films I enjoy a lot. They make a lot of very enjoyable films, which is a niche I feel is underappreciated and underexplored. I definitely think No Country is one of the weakest works of their's I've seen, if not the weakest.
I think No Country For Old Men is certainly largely overrated, although not bad. AMA.
I would suggest Justified. It excels in both case-of-the-week and serial formats, and it's development in quality in the former really sets it apart.
What I see that is so promising is the emergence of all these other channels making TV. All of a sudden, just in the past two years, you have channels like Sundance, Cinemax, BBC America, etc. starting to fund their own (and awesome) shows. The new methods of distribution make the opportunities for financing so…
I wasn't that emotionally affected by Band of Brothers, even though I like it a lot.
I don't really cry, at all. Only The Pacific succeeded. And it made me bawl.
Man, I'm watching "Interpretive Dance" for no reason in particular and it's really great. I miss season 1 of Community.
That Pam arc is the best subplot of the show. It's really just so fantastic.
I mean that they're being stripped of nuance. I feel like Walt's a lot less complex now than he was in season three. Jesse hasn't really done much of anything recently. I don't really know what's up with Skyler.
I haven't really connected to it emotionally in a while. Ever since the end of season 3 (well, I guess "Fly" is the end-point) the show's been getting bigger and bigger and the characters smaller and smaller. I guess it's supposed to be interesting that Walt is a bad dude, but I just don't connect with it. Or Jesse…

The bestest. I love her.
Sort of late to the party on this, but boy is Modern Warfare 2 a stupid game.
