In my excitement for Pacific Rim, I've rewatched Fast Five, which is a borderline masterpiece of cinema and a stirring tribute to awesomeness.

But… but… that Variety article said it would be impossible for it to reach $50 million!

Playing devil's advocate: many of Community's structural problems stem from being unable (or unwilling) to effectively utilize its large, unwieldy cast in a given 22-minute episode.

I mentioned this before, but the way the show nudges the viewer without ever telling is its best aspect.  It is so effectively subtle.
