- Adèle's arc is really good.  I don't think she fully realized Simon was alive until this episode, and that it really crystallized her opinion of him versus the way she felt about Thomas.
- I don't understand the animal thing.
- I don't think Julie is dead, but she sure as hell suspects it.  Kind of like the reverse of

I don't recall a wilder week, no.  Though I am biased being a Sens fan.

They're both shout-y.

Why am I getting all these Life's Too Short ads if it's just for a one-hour finale?

Fair deal.  Silfverberg and Noesen have upside, but neither will likely end up as good as Ryan.  It's like a grab-bag of good prospects.  Classic three dimes for a quarter trade.

Clarkson's is atrocious.  Somehow Toronto managed to out-suck Ottawa.

That about sums it up.

In this case it's not the process, but the people.

I think it would be much better if it was even more random.  It sets the game apart and makes for a fantastic end.

"Office Olympics" is one of the few episodes to truly capture the spirit of the British original, and it's really great.  The show didn't go "dark" often (and it was certainly never a strong point, imo), but in this instance it really nailed Michael's taming of his quasi-existential despair.

True story: it took me until my fourth re-read to notice that his name was Oberyn and not Obeyrn.

Also, I made this case a while back:
