This would be a much better topic for every TV show to be about.   Although it's not hard to clear the "mancession" bar.

I'm one of the "season 3 is polarizing crowd."  Though I'm not sure I want one of the moderate screw-ups of the first half or one of the incredibly melodramatic ones from the second half.

People who like Hannibal should watch Les Revenants.

Probably.  The link to the 6.4 release is here, which goes over a lot of the changes.  In short, it massively increases the playable game area (cutting the New World in favour of extending the map east to Uzbekistan, and adding another 100 cities), increases the number of playable factions (from ~12 or so to 23, I

I think Pierre withholding things makes sense, though.  If someone figured out that dead people were coming back to life, the government would probably swoop down upon them as soon as they realized what was up.

Do you have Stainless Steel installed?  Because you should.

- I think the reason Serge's attack seem so visceral is the way it's filmed.  It's not presented like a horror movie where it is presented as a surprise in the way the footage is cut (although in the first episode it was a surprise); the camera follows the character down the along the sidewalk, down the steps, and

That sucks if you have a non-refundable TGV ticket.

It's an epidemic in Canadian high schools.  I know from first-hand experience.

The ear thing struck me as way beyond plausible, but now that I'm thinking about it I figure it's actually an important development.

Yeah, wizards seem to look down on Muggle society even though they, you know, have stealth bombers and tanks and shit.

I'm surprised it's not German.  Germany is still the power, economically, and much of eastern Europe/Scandinavia/eastern France speaks it.

I remember this being the worst episode of the season.  It read like a bad parody of a West Wing episode, with all the fictional nations and issues that are a clear reference to something in reality, but that they don't want to grapple with it.

Why didn't they just send captured Death Eaters to the moon?  Much more efficient than Azkaban.

I agree with most everything here.  Many weeks Game of Thrones just feels like a bunch of conversations and set-pieces stuck together; a bunch of limbs moving separately rather than in concert.

I'm not sure, but furlongs/fortnight is the unit I use to measure the amount of sex I have.

Just a bunch of "YA" stuff I've enjoyed over the years.  It seems to me that they often get sneered at by the high-brow people for being too "light" and "inconsequential" and not serious enough.  But I think they provide a sense of levity, and often, narrative and emotional clarity, that can be really engaging,

I think young adult literature doesn't get the respect it deserves.

Why are you using imperial units?  Trains run in km/h in Europe!

I'm afraid Homeland is just going to sweep again.  I'll be miffed if Danes wins.
