If he was really smart Vokoun would've started game 1.

I stayed up 'til 4 am to catch it. Now I'm so excited I can't go to sleep. But who cares, because it's the playoffs! And VE Day tomorrow.
I re-read Ender's Game recently, and I found it somewhat amusingly homoerotic. Lots of naked boys having fun with each other.
Most of the team had been kicked out of the game, so the framing of the camera looks like he's the only one left (even though there were a couple more hanging around).
This is my favourite .gif in a while. Surrealism and sports is inherently funny.
Being a Sens fan, the Toronto sports media puts me in a strange position of loving most Leafs players. I'm a big fan of Kadri, Kessel, Reimer, Gardiner, and even the caveman Phaneuf, in large part because the Toronto media is so needlessly vicious to them.
I think that explains a lot.
'shopped, I believe.
Daytime television I would watch: Tywin Lannister hosting his own Maury style show, dispensing blunt assessments to all involved.
I think once this season is done I'm going to do a "Winger speech" retrospective. I used to enjoy them, but somewhere along the way they became the worst thing about pretty much every episode they're a part of.
Watched the new episode. Really funny. Enjoyed it a lot. But boy, it really is sort of amazing how each episode manages to deep-six itself with an overly melodramatic third act (although this was a problem that started with the third season, largely). That Winger speech brought everything to a grinding halt.
What sub-genre of television shows do you wish would come (back) into vogue?
There's plenty of great metal albums.
Erik Karlsson is the best hockey player in the world.
The original is (I think) the greatest television show ever created.
So, Showgirls is incredibly fascinating. I've never been so thoroughly befuddled by a movie.
Bay's one of those filmmakers that I think reviewers will have a hard time looking favourably upon regardless of a movie's merit. I'm still very mildly interested in seeing the movie, because a rewatch of the trailer still amused me.
I was kind of amused by the trailer I saw for Pain & Gain. It could turn out to be terrible, and probably will, but I think there's potential.
I was the only person who included 2001? What kind of jackassery is this?
Well, that Game of Thrones episode sure was something. It completely boosted my confidence in the show's ability to pull off the rest of the book.
