I don't remember him getting shot down.  I remember him basically ordering the Kingsguard to bring him to his room.  And then venting to Tyrion about what a dick Joffrey is.

I enjoy looking at the header pic, but apparently this episode isn't very good.  Might not get around to watching it for a while.

This song is better than it has any right to be.

I don't know exactly why it is that I just end up feeling nothing towards things like the Boston bombing or this Waco explosion.  Maybe it's that the media ends up overplaying it and dwelling on it so long that I feel there's no need to throw my 2 cents of grief or disappointment or shock or whatever in.

Often "currently" is meant to indicate "airing episodes this week/next week".  I think Veep is my favourite comedy "currently" airing episodes.

I think "Economics of Marine Biology" and "Herstory of Dance" would definitely make my top 50.  Another one or two might squeak in from those I've seen.

*Insert joke about Atlas Shrugged*

There's nothing wrong with eating unhealthy food in moderation.

Yeah, but Littlefinger never directed fiscal policy.  The King needs money, at the Master of Coin finds it.

I always wished that the show emphasized Littlefinger's acumen a bit more, rather than just having him own a lot of brothels.  The books make it clear that he's actually somewhat of a financial genius, which is why he keeps moving up (because, like Tyrion alludes to, most Masters of Coin are appointed on the basis of

Todd wasn't lying about that "best cut to credits ever" thing.

Depends on the type of sub.  This one was a boomer (with ballistic missiles) and looked like a Delta class, and so would've been 40-50 m longer than an attack submarine and probably a bit roomier.

It's really quite fantastic.

You know what I think is silly?  Holding art in higher esteem because it is influential.  Something's influence may be a sign of its quality, but that's not necessarily the case.  It makes no sense to credit a work or an artist just for inspiring others, because it was usually never the artist's intention to do so.

No love for "Vincent and the Doctor"?

Kingdoms adds four new campaigns: the New World, Brittania, the Teutonic Order and Eastern Europe, and the Crusades.  A bunch of new units.  Better AI and bigger battles.  Stuff like that.  And most importantly, it's necessary for all the best mods.

My suggestion: get the Kingdoms expansion and the Stainless Steel mod, which makes the game incredibly rewarding and awesome.

As I am currently in the middle of fucking over the Kievan Rus with my armies of Magyar horsemen, I endorse this post.

I was thinking of including this little-known foreign film called Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.  Think anyone's heard of it?
