I squealed in excitement when I saw Betty Gilpin's name in the opening credits, had no idea she was gonna be in this. She's had barely a handful of scenes in American Gods but she crushed each one of them. Can't wait to see more of her here.

Maybe it's because I just put it on as background music my first listen through but I didn't find much interesting here. From what I'm getting from the review and this comment section is that Lorde's strength is her songwriting so I'm gonna need a proper listening session to see what it's all about.
Into Me You See is just a slower, worse version of Teenage Dream's Pearl.
Cowboy Bebop has always seemed pretty western/non-anime to me, which is probably why it's been a popular recommendation for people not into anime. Live-action adaptations of anime don't have a good track record but I could see this one actually working.
Mishima was actually part of the Ryuji choice in my run, though I ended up going with Hifumi. I wonder what requirements the game needs to determine who your choices are.
Was mighty cool of her to do this, I feel the message was similar to when she performed in Atlantic City so early after having Blue, which was basically "moms/women don't have to put their lives on hold to have kids".
I don't think the film flopped, considering how long sequel talks went on before they were securely shut down. I think sequels were just put on the back-burner for so long the kids aged out of their roles, which was a bigger deal than the Harry Potter cast aging considering SoUE takes place across little over a year.
They're a pretty ambitious group for a bunch of pop rockers for sure. Josh Ramsay really does have a punchable face though.
The lead singer helped Carly write a few songs on the album Call Me Maybe came from, and you can definitely feel his influence. Guitar String Wedding Ring could easily be sung by Marianas Trench
SoulDecision had a few good hits that should have been bigger. Faded was a total jam
We'd have Carly Rae Jepsen reigning as the most popular queen of pop ever right now if this were a just world.
I'd say that's what happened with Carly Rae Jepsen herself; Call Me Maybe swallowed the summer of 2012 whole, and while she hasn't achieved even half of that charting/radio power since (aside from that Owl City collab), with Emotion she's basically secured herself as an A-list cult hit.
