You know what really throws me in the season one episodes? Chandler's voice. It's got a quippy, brassy New Yorker edge to it that fades as time goes on (and is almost completely gone by mid Season 2).

I thought that casting Kristen Wiig & Seth Rogen was the worst decision that Hurwitz & crew made. Kristen Wiig did a killer Lucille, but it still felt like Kristen Wiig doing Lucille. Seth Rogen had the same issue but wasn't as good at channeling George Sr.

I agree, rapid-fire jokes are one of the things that make Arrested Development great. However, if you were encouraging someone to watch the show, you wouldn't say "you should watch it, it has too many jokes!"

Actually, all he said was "too many jokes," which is hardly a ringing endorsement. I'm a little afraid.

All of this goes along with the whole "blow up the stagecoach" plan early in the film. He knew that people would be coming after he and Django, and he probably could've found a safe place for them to hide, but instead he pulls this elaborate trick/spectacle. What QT said makes perfect sense.
