Apparently Mystikal was just released from prison after like…6 years or something. LOOK FOR A COMEBACK.

City High had another really popular single, "Caramel," which featured the lyric "5'5" with brown eyes." I ALWAYS thought she was saying "Bye, bye, my brown eye," which confused and delighted me to no end.

Wolverine and the X-Men is not bad at all, and is actually pretty decent from a continuity standpoint. Probably because it was written by a current X-men writer.

Going back earlier in the thread, at least Arclight was a villain in the comic. Multiple Man and Psylocke, however, are two of my favorite characters, and to make them one-note villains was very disappointing. Especially since they completely mischaracterized Psylocke. Also, who the fuck was Ken Jeong supposed to be?

I couldn't tell you about superman returns. I fell asleep halfway through it in the theater, it was that boring. Given, I was quite drunk, but a superhero movie should at LEAST be able to keep you awake. If it got better in the second half…I'll never know.

To be sure, Stan Lee wasn't really responsible for making Magneto into a level-headed individual who had deep philosophical reasons for his actions, not to mention being a holocaust survivor. In the 60s x-men, Magneto was just a typical archvillain who wanted to take over the world. It was Claremont in the 70s who

Best of luck, Amelie! We will miss you here in NY…some of us will have to light a few extra candles in our shrines tonight…

Um, wolverine would still be hugh jackman, if they stick to their own continuity.

If Fox fucks this up as much as they did the Wolverine movie, they'll find a way to shoe-horn wolverine in there.

Next week is a stand-alone…I don't think there will be much desmonding.

I think the combination of Desmond and the bomb truly make Sayid realize that he was lied to about getting his woman back.

Also, why does Locke want to keep Claire around? While she was whining, I'm surprised he didn't just snap her neck.

Cultural Reference, wouldn't "they" have to do that with pretty much every show and movie ever made?

I guess Amelie isn't bound by the "no A+" rule, though that Curb episode did deserve it, if any episode did.

I always figured it was about the kids, too. The whole show was about the main characters' parent issues, and Darlton has said that the finale will wrap up the story for the main characters. Which to me hints at starting anew with the next generation.

I'm still not sure how Kate went from bleeding copiously to being dragged on a beach in relatively good shape. Are we going back to the "island heals things quickly" gag? I only thought that worked for "believers" like Locke and Rose.

Agreed, El Zilcho…it didn't even occur to me that he was unconscious until later…which does give me some hope that he's going to miraculously appear on shore.

I really hope the sideways isn't The End either…mainly cuz I have 5 bucks down that it's not.

    Mr. T
Now I can't stop thinking about that SNL Mr. T parody cartoon, where he tries out for A Doll's House:

I was born in 1982 as well, and my opinion is…no…it wasn't. I think '82 was just about the LAST good year to be born, pop-culture wise. You got to be a little kid during the 80s, thus being the only generation to TRULY appreciate Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, and the like. You hit puberty right about the time grunge became
