Pitchfork also had the benefit of having a list of 500, but they definitely included far more albums that I consider better than the ones on here.

Pierce said he didn't see the main list, so QOTSA could still be on thereā€¦as should Tool.

In NPR's defense, "These are the Vistas" had a very respectable jazz-trio cover of Aphex Twin's "flim."

This is the problem when it's a list made by one person. Tool is easily the hard rock/metal band with the biggest following, and arguably the largest crossover prog artists ever. To leave off lateralus is ridiculous.

    Post-Its?
    Romy's gonna be pissed.

AVClub, I hope lala is paying you a lot of fucking money for this bullshit.

I dunno, but I saw them in september at the warp anniversary show, and they premiered new songs for the album due sometime next year. They were pretty fucking good.

Without question, JPJ is the raddest. And compare a picture of him now to whatever kind of cacodemons Page and Plant have become.

I just listened to Era Vulgaris yesterday. None of their albums are weak, but Songs for the Deaf just strikes a chord with me. It's an easy front to back listen.

Battles, Jamie Lidell, Broadcast, BoC, Flying Lotus - all of these groups from Warp in the 00's that did fantastic work, yet were left off here.

I didn't even recognize her - it looked like she had some pretty bad work done.

If there are two things Danny Duberstein is good at, it's math, and fucking.

Well, he was clearly supposed to look like a member of the Nation of Islam, which was the point. Horn-rimmed glasses, suit, red bowtie. I don't think the specific member was that important.

I call it the Ghost train.

    Hey
neat, i'll try to make it, even though park slope is simultaneously about 4 miles or 2 hours via public transportation for me.

What's funny is how true the Spaced theory is. Never have a started an imaginary gun fight and not had it reciprocated, no matter the time or place.

It's from the frisky dingo guys, no? How could it be bad?

No, it was definitely "By Zeus"

I think they've decided that Abed is the breakout character on the show, when really he should be kept as the ace in the hole.

    Argh!
    It's bleeding like a sieve!
