I would be gobsmacked if they don't come back. If they aren't poached by SCD and british dude, they will be shown as a contrast to what it's like working in a REAL ad agency (SC was always depicted as a second-string agency vs. McCann and Ogilvy)

It makes perfect sense - Don only comes home at night to see the kids, and clearly has a problem with disciplining them because of his own childhood. Betty is home with them all the time and is the taskmaster. Why WOULDN'T they like Don more?
My guess is that they are going to slowly poach the main crew from McCann as they become bigger and bigger. And they are definitely going to find a way to bring Sal back. How could they not?
What pete doesn't know is that trudy (incognito) has been attending community college…shockers to come!
Actually, I think we'll be seeing a bit more of the teacher, as she sort of represents free-spirited idealism in the beginning of an era that will promote that sort of thinking.
This was the only episode all season I enjoyed. Let's hope it stays that way to earn its second season. Also, is it me, or is jenny slate much more attractive here than on SNL?
Jon Stewart's impression was not as good, but that whole piece was a work of genius, and no one could have done it like stewart did.
Eh
I thought Taylor did a decent job, mainly in that she did very passable impressions of kristen stewart and shakira. They need some new material fast, though.
the little double thumbs-up gesture he gives when saying "home of the original kitten 'mittons'" was amazing.
As a Mets fan, I'm going to go kill myself before they have their fucking parade.
Warp is the shit. They have consistently released the best of the genre (or any genre) for their entire existence. I went to their NY 20th anniversary party in september, and it was great. Battles, Flying Lotus, and !!!
The Smashing Pumpkins'….too easy.
The David Bowie Wham Bam Thank-you Shamwow
Wow, that's a pretty neat line…I haven't watched the show since the beginning of season 3, but it's nice to see at least one writer gets it (that's probably the only line he's gotten into the show in the last 2 years)
Jon Hamm's John Ham was funny, but definitely not as good as Sarsgaard's really deadpan commercial for SARS Guards.
co-op girl
was the new chick on SNL, was it not?
ed, i wondered the same thing…they should have at least intimated that funkhauser told him.
I had a question on the last psych test I gave with Jim Henson as a multiple choice answer to "Who is the Father of Psychology." Some kids chose him. Later on I asked, and found out that 18 year olds don't know who jim henson was.
nice
this was probably the weakest episode all season, but i did appreciate:
Northeast Corridor
Nice to see that a Dairy Barn was dressed up as a southern sandwich shack.
