@south of heaven - i espoused this view to a friend this morning, and he came to the exact same conclusion as you did.

    Yes
It's a retarded parody, and the guy looks like the literal stereotype of a young republican, but I think the concern is this: I am convinced that Lady Gaga is actually retarded. Having seen the kermit dress, and the way she speaks, I think she's just a happy little retarded girl who has been pushed by a record

I think we'd get quesada up against a wall, and then he'd make a deal with mephisto to go back to being a cover artists, making us all forget about world war hulk.

I also saw Pulp Fiction with my parents…it was an experience.

    Great News
Now let's all get milk-faced and hum like bunnies!

You think MTV is going to do anything more than the bare minimum for people who are now 10 years older than their current audience?

Except Jann directed all the episodes, so…you know…there's that…

    Tomorrow's Feature
The AVclub has a beer and a smoke with Warren Ellis, and then they all beat the shit out of brian michael bendis with jeph loeb's femur bone.

I agree with whoever said it veers between amazing and hopelessly muddled. However, I'm one of the few who prefers the weapon x arc with the bachalo art over the riot arc with quitely (i found it bratty) and the here comes tomorrow arc (too much sublime).

SMF - couldn't have said it better myself.

Pilgrim - I too read LOTR when I was hopped up on vics after having all 4 impacted wisdom teeth out. The drugs made all the singing parts bearable.

Tim Hortons has just entered NYC to do battle with Dunkin' Donuts, and all three major newspapers here (including the Times) has weighed in.

I think Nabin's gonna be in NY on thurs, actually.

I did an empirical nugget taste test when I was in 7th grade. Roy Rogers very easily takes the title of worst nugget ever.

I haven't had chain fast food in about 10 years, and haven't been to a chain restaurant (e.g. olive garden, friday's, etc.) in about 5. Reading fast food nation and the omnivore's dilemma didn't help. Plus, I was whole heartedly convinced by bourdain that no chain will ever beat the dude cooking on a cart on the side

Both Romitas have rather unique styles, though. I can't see many artists who have been influenced by them.

    I nominate
Chris Bachalo. The dude has been working for over a decade, and his style and detail are completely different from anyone else working today.

Yes, but then he did the Ultimates, and that's that.

The demon bear and legion arcs of new mutants are wonders of contemporary art.

wow, I can't believe I got away with a stealth firstie.
